Grammys 2012: Favorite TV Spots

Some of us have come to know this event as music's biggest night, and this year's Grammys were nothing short of emotional. From Adele's sweeping win after battling with her health, to the beautiful tribute performed in memory of the legendary Whitney Houston, this will be a night we shall not forget.

Amoung the Grammy ads were a few re-runs from this year's Super Bowl, and others that date a little while back. But nevertheless, here are the spots that made me laugh, cry and enjoy the evening. The one's who were music to my ears. (sorry, I just had to write that)

Check out More than Branding's favorite Ads from the 2012 Grammy Awards:

Target

Title: "Color changes everything"

Chevrolet

Title: "Shine"

Chipotle

Title: "Back to the start"

Pepsi

Title: "King's court"

McDonald's

Title: "How to pick up a lady"

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Title: "Let me go"

How about you? What was your favorite ad of the night?

The Ads to walk down the red carpet at this year’s Emmy Awards

The announcement of the 2011 Emmy nominations have given us six competitors under the category of Outstanding Commercial who seem to have all that it takes to score. From celebrity appearances, polar bears, babies, Indian flea markets, to even Isaiah Mustafa wearing nothing but a towel, it looks as if the choice will be pretty difficult. Kudos to the brands who made the list- McDonald's, Chrysler, Subaru, Nissan, Old Spice and American Express- and especially to agencies TBWA and Wieden+Kennedy, as well as Ogilvy and Carmichael Lynch for their outstanding work and nominations.

I am, however, surprised to see that the Super Bowl smash hit-  Volkswagen's "The Force"-  didn't make the cut... but nevertheless, here are the nominees!

McDonald's
Title: "Baby"
Agency: TBWA\Chiat\Day New York

Chrysler 200
Title: "Born on Fire"
Agency: Wieden+Kennedy

Subaru
Title: "Baby Driver"
Agency: Carmichael Lynch

Nissan LEAF
Title: "Polar Bear"
Agency: TBWA\Chiat\Day

Old Spice Body Wash
Title: "Questions"
Agency: Wieden+Kennedy

American Express
Title: "Conan"
Agency: Ogilvy New York

Who will take home this year's Emmy? It's only a matter of time until we find out. But for now, let us know through your comments who you think will be the big winner....
